Clover Hill Civic Association
New Member Information & Application Form

The Clover Hill Civic Association was formed in the mid-1960's and is a nonprofit corporation. The Association owns 14 acres of parkland in the center of the community including a clubhouse, pavilion, ball fields, volleyball court, playground, and jogging trail. It functions to maintain and manage the physical facilities and the sports and social programs that use them. From time to time the Association is involved in issues that affect the welfare of the entire community.

The Civic Association functions through the volunteer efforts of the officers and directors. Monthly meetings of the Board of Directors are open to all members and are usually held on the second Tuesday of every other month 7:00 PM in the clubhouse – 8122 Glendale Dr. At its annual meeting in September, the members present set the 2008 dues at $264.00 for regular members (includes annual trash collection service) and $120.00 for Associate members (no trash collection).

The Membership Area for the Clover Hill Civic Association consists of the subdivisions known as Clover Hill, Clover Hill II (East and West), Clover Hill III, Cloverdale, and the section of West Hills located East of Yellow Springs Rd. In 1987, members of the Association voted to change the structure of the organization to a Homeowners Association. It is the goal of the Association through its by-laws that the properties in the membership area eventually become Regular Members (annual membership required through covenants signed by property owners - similar to the Clover Hill III property covenants). Associate Members (who live outside the Membership Area or rent properties within it) are welcome to join the Association and enjoy all of the benefits except voting rights in Association matters. A more complete description of the Membership Requirements is contained in Article I of the Association By-Laws.

The Clover Hill Swim Club is a separate, nonprofit corporation that has its own set of by-laws, officers, directors, and finances. It cooperates closely with the Clover Hill Civic Association so that Swim Club Members may share parking facilities on the Civic Association grounds . To continue this cooperation, the Clover Hill Swim Club By-Laws require that its members also join the Clover Hill Civic Association.
