Issues for 2007 season

  • Limit Recruiting and migration of swimmers from team-to-team
  • Place limits on number of outside swimmers who are not full-dues-payming members of the swim club
  • Eliminate NT Rule
  • Change individual scoring to 6-4-3-2-1 for dual meets and 8-6-5-4-3-2-1 for Divisionals.  Use High School Relay scoring for dual, double-dual, champ meets.
  • Start Divisionals on Friday night for 11 and older swimmers, finish on Saturday with 10 and younger swimmers if timeline is longer than 5 hours at 35 second intervals in MM Events, Sessions.
  • Change Medley relays from 13-18 to 18 & Under
  • Move Medley Relays to end of IM events, and Free Relays to end of Freestyle
  • Change final free relays to age group 18&Under, 12&Under, 10&Under, 8&Under
  • Limit exhibition swims in Divisionals

  • Please remember to select checkboxes in Seeding Preferences, Dual Meets.  Assign teams to alternate lanes AND "Use Lane Assignments Above" AND "Alternate Use of Unassigned Lanes"
  • MM Backup File Use Meet Manager, File, Restore to open.  NEW with 2006 All Star Times, distance set for meters

Accepted Changes for 2005

  • Add 8 & Under 50 Free Event (FSSL Meeting 1/9/05)
  • Add 13-14 100 Free and 100 IM to Events (FSSL Meeting 9/12/04)
  • Team Ranking will be established with Round-Robin Computer Meets, then adding total points scored 'for' less total points scored 'against', athletes aged up to the next year June 1 (FSSL Meeting 10/3/04)
  • Article I Section 6 - Change Divisional ranking system to computerized round robin tournament, aged up to following year.
  • Article II, Section 3 - Limit the number of age-groups that a swimmer can "swim up" to 2 (FSSL Meeting 1/9/05)
